Registration

When registering for TheRecord Online service you must select an appropriate registration type. There are two registration types that have different functions. The two types are Transcription Managers and Transcribers.

Transcription Managers perform the primary function of uploading TheRecord content (and optionally log sheets) to TheRecord Online and then granting access to the online content to Transcribers. If you register as a Transcription Manager you can also transfer access to another Transcription Manager. A subscription for a Transcription Manager account is free.

Transcribers perform the primary function of downloading and playing TheRecord content and optionally log sheets (using the for-fee FTR Log Notes or TheRecord Annotator software) from TheRecord Online. There is a subscription fee for a Transcriber account and the charges vary. Please email TheRecord Online Administrator or call (877) 650-0958/(602) 650-0958 x212 for pricing information.

To register to use TheRecord Online service please select a Registration Type and complete the following details.  When completed click Submit.  Your registration details will be forwarded and you will be contacted by an FTR representative with your new account information. The email address that you enter below is the address that new account information will be sent to.
